Jumia launches Buy Now, Pay Later service in Algeria

African e-commerce platform, Jumia, has announced a strategic partnership with Algerian finance provider Diar Dzair to introduce Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services in Algeria. The new payment option gives customers the chance to split their payments, making online shopping easier and digital financial services more accessible, according to Jumia Algeria CEO Liès-Paul Mollard, who also added that BNPL options would allow for a more inclusive e-commerce environment.
