Libya and Italy signed agreements Tuesday to boost cooperation in development, investments, and infrastructure. Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni formalized the deals at the Italian Libyan Business Forum, marking the first forum in Tripoli in a decade. Dbeibah called the agreements "a new opportunity" for Libya’s economy, announcing ITA Airways flights resuming in December, relaxed Italian business travel rules, and the restart of Libya’s 1,800-km coastal highway project.
