Libyan family risks migrant crossing to access medical care

Libya’s Deputy Prime Minister/ Acting Minister of Health Ramadan Abu Janah has instructed the Emergency and Ambulance Services to declare a state of emergency in the southern region following severe rainfall and flooding. Critical patients are being transferred to Tripoli for treatment, and authorities have been ordered to provide all necessary support to affected citizens. Significant damage has been caused to infrastructure, including roads, bridges, health facilities, schools, and houses in the affected area.
