According to the latest semi-annual International Monetary Fund (IMF) projections published in April 2024 Libya continues to rank in the top ten fastest growing economies. The IMF is expecting the Libyan economy to grow by 7.8% in 2024, decreasing to 6.9% in 2025. Other countries from the region who made it onto the list include Niger, Senegal, Rwanda and Burkina Faso.
