Libya's Cabinet Affairs Minister Adel Juma was injured in an assassination attempt on Wednesday in Tripoli when an unknown assailant shot him in the leg, the Government of National Unity (GNU) reported. The UN-recognized government stated Juma, a key advisor to Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah since March 2021, is in stable condition. The GNU has launched an investigation to apprehend the attackers, vowing to uphold state security and stability.
