The Governor of Libya's Central Bank (CBL), Saddek Elkaber, met with his Turkish counterpart, Fatih Karahan, on the sidelines of the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington. According to the CBL, the talks focused on enhancing coordination between the two banks, exchanging expertise, and sharing views on the economic and financial situations in both countries, as well as the challenges that central banks confront in the region.
