Libya's eastern military leaders Khalifa Haftar has met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace in the French capital, according to his Benghazi-based forces, in a statement quoted by AFP. Haftar and Macron discussed "developments in the political process in Libya and the importance of supporting the UN mission's efforts", according to the statement posted on social media Wednesday evening.
