Maroc Telecom tops 80 million subscribers in H1 of 2025

Morocco’s telecoms operator Maroc Telecom has increased its subscriber base by 2.3% increase compared to the same period last year, taking it to 80 million customers in the first half of 2025. Across the continent, the mobile customer base stood at more than 57.50 million clients, with Burkina Faso holding 12.21 million customers, followed by Cote d’Ivoire (more than 11.96 million customers), Mali (more than 8.43 million customers), Chad (more than 7.26 million customers,) and Benin (more than 5.54 million customers), local Moroccan media reported.
