As part of an ongoing strategic diplomatic role Morocco is playing across the continent Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita met with the High Representative for the Sahel, Mauritanian Hamadi Meimou, as part of a working visit by the head of the institution.
Hamadi Meimo was in Rabat to discuss and review the Sahel Coalition’s role in combating terrorism and maintaining stability in the region, at a time when several Sahel countries have announced their withdrawal from the G5 Sahel.
