Morocco’s FM Nasser Bourita met with Hanna Serwaa Tetteh, the UN Special Representative for Libya, in Rabat on Monday to discuss how best to support the Libyan parties as they work towards peace and a sustainable political agreement, local media reported. Tetteh spoke to reporters after the meeting and praised Morocco’s role as a “very important partner” in helping push the political process forward. She also discussed the current situation in Libya, which she described as “very sensitive.” Local media went on to say that she pointed to recent tensions in Tripoli and the municipal elections that faced many challenges.
