Thousands marched in Rabat on Sunday to protest Israel’s war in Gaza and demand an end to Morocco’s normalisation of ties with Israel, AFP reported. Organised by the National Action Group for Palestine, the rally included members of the Islamist Justice and Development Party. Morocco restored diplomatic relations with Israel in 2020 under the U.S.-brokered Abraham Accords but has faced growing domestic backlash as the Gaza conflict escalates.
