Tens of thousands protested in Rabat Sunday against the ongoing war in Gaza and Morocco’s normalisation deal with Israel, according to AFP. Demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and called for lifting the blockade and ending ties with Israel. Organised by Islamist and leftist groups, the rally reflected growing public anger as Gaza’s humanitarian crisis deepens nearly two years into the war sparked by Hamas’s October 2023 attack.
