Researchers in Morocco have successfully reprogrammed blood cells into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) for the first time, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health said on Thursday. The breakthrough will support biomedical research, personalized medicine and new treatments, the foundation said, adding it aims to establish a national platform for cell reprogramming and make Morocco a regional leader in medical innovation.
