In recent talks between Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, Omar Hejira, and Hassan Al-Khatib, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, a new system to monitor the two countries’ trade-related statistics was announced. According to local Moroccan media the aim of the agreement is to streamline export flows, identify potential problems with trade objectives and find ways to resolve them.
