Morocco announces first legal cannabis harvest of 294 metric tons

According to reports from the National Agency for the Regulation of Cannabis-Related Activities (ANRAC) Morocco’s first legal cannabis harvest yields 294 tons. The main production came from cultivation of the “Beldia” variety in the Al Hoceima region. Morocco’s recognition of the therapeutic properties and industrial potential of cannabis, under the oversight of ANRAC, has led to the expansive harvest.
