Moroccan authorities arrested a French Moroccan man suspected of involvement in kidnappings targeting crypto-wealthy individuals in France, a source said Wednesday. French Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin thanked Morocco for the arrest on X. The suspect, 24-year-old Bajjou Badiss Mohamed AmiDe, was wanted via an Interpol red notice for organized crime, kidnapping, and extortion. As a dual national, he will be tried in Morocco, not extradited, with France sharing case details for local prosecution, the source added.
