Morocco will purchase 200 Cobra II armored vehicles from Turkey, in a deal worth $136 million, according to a statement from the Turkish defense company Otokar. The purchase is part of Morocco’s extensive modernization of its armed forces, and includes spare parts, maintenance support and training. The deal marks a significant step in the growing defense collaboration between Morocco and Turkey. Delivery is set to commence by the end of 2024.
