In a meeting between Morocco Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and Iraqi National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji reiterated Iraq’s firm position in support of Morocco’s territorial integrity concerning the Sahara issue. During their discussions, the two sides addressed several regional issues, including the situations in Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon. Bourita pointed out that “both countries share similar views on most of these matters, particularly the belief that crises must be resolved through dialogue.” He also highlighted that the upcoming Arab Summit in Iraq will provide an opportunity to address all these issues, adding that “we support all the preparations Iraq is making for the summit.”
