Morocco has identified export opportunities worth MAD 12 billion (USD 1.18 billion) in African markets, announced Secretary of State for Foreign Trade Omar Hejira. Addressing the House of Representatives on Monday, Hejira highlighted 60 potential investment projects aimed at enhancing Morocco's export presence across the continent. In 2023, Moroccan exports to Africa represented 7.6% of its total exports, with significant contributions from phosphates and derivatives.
