Morocco launches tender for world’s largest stadium

Morocco has opened the construction tender for the $320 million Grand Stade Hassan II, planned to be the world’s largest stadium with 115,000 seats, according to Morocco World News. Located near Casablanca, the stadium is slated for completion by December 2027, in time for the 2030 World Cup, which Morocco will co-host. The project is part of a vast 100-hectare sports complex and designed by Populous and Oualalou + Choi.
