Morocco’s National Fisheries Office (ONP) and Mauritania’s Fish Marketing Company signed a memorandum of understanding in Casablanca to enhance cooperation on marketing and valorising fishery products, ONP said according to regional media. The accord includes shared management of marketing sites, training programmes, technical support and expertise transfer for standardised fish handling. The move reinforces both nations’ commitment to sustainable marine practices and improving commercial value in their pelagic fisheries.
