Morocco’s Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and his Gambian counterpart Mamadou Tangara attended the inauguration ceremony of the opening of Morocco’s embassy in Banjul, Gambia on Friday. The event coincides with the start of the 15th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) being held this weekend in Banjul. Ministers Bourita and Tangara met earlier this week in Rabat, with the Gambian FM bearing a written message for King Mohammed VI from President Adama Barrow. Discussions between the two countries focused on continuing cooperation on a range of issues.
