Morocco ranks as Africa's third-wealthiest nation, report shows

Morocco is Africa's third-wealthiest nation with 7,500 millionaires, the Africa Wealth Report 2025 found. The North African country trails South Africa (41,100) and Egypt (14,800). Morocco’s high-net-worth population grew 40% in the past decade. It is home to 35 centi-millionaires and four billionaires, led by Bank of Africa's Othman Benjelloun. Casablanca, with 2,900 millionaires, ranks ninth among the continent's wealthiest cities.
