Morocco invited bids on Wednesday to build a new terminal at Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport, boosting capacity by 20 million passengers. The expansion is part of a plan to double national airport capacity to 78 million ahead of the 2030 World Cup, co-hosted with Spain and Portugal. The $1.6 billion terminal, set for completion in 2029, will serve as an international hub linked by high-speed rail to Casablanca, Rabat, and Marrakech, ONDA said.
