Morocco seeks 'China ready' label to attract tourists

Morocco has launched a bid to become North Africa’s first "China Ready"-certified destination, aiming to attract more Chinese tourists. A May 7 workshop in Rabat trained local operators on Chinese market needs, with a 12-month support plan. Up next: a B2B event linking 60 Chinese agencies with Moroccan firms. Adaptations like Mandarin services and payment options are planned.
