Morocco to host permanent AFROSAI headquarters in Rabat

Morocco has been named the permanent host of the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI) after an agreement was signed in Rabat by Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and Zineb El Adaoui, First President of the Court of Accounts. The move reinforces continental cooperation in public financial oversight. Morocco’s Foreign Ministry stated it reflects the country’s commitment to South-South cooperation, aligning with King Mohammed VI’s vision. The decision positions Morocco as a hub for African governance and transparency.
