The Renault factory in Tangier has started the production of Dacia Jogger, the first hybrid vehicle to be manufactured in Morocco. Morocco’s Minister of Industry Ryad Mezzour was at the Tangier plant for a launch ceremony and commented on X: “the production of the Dacia JOGGER, (is) the first hybrid car bearing the ‘Made in Morocco’ label, by the Renault Morocco Group.” Thierry Charvet, Director of Industry and Quality at Renault Group, described the cooperation as fundamental with Morocco “a cornerstone of the Group’s industrial strategy.”
