Morocco’s UN envoy Omar Hilale has called for countries to adopt a unified vision to address growing global social development challenges, speaking at a high-level Arab regional meeting in Tunis. Hilale, who co-facilitates talks for November’s Second World Summit on Social Development in Doha, said such an approach would ensure peace, prosperity and stability, including in Arab nations. He urged fresh policies respecting cultural, religious and ethnic differences, adding that diversity should drive excellence while protecting regional priorities.
