Morocco, Zambia and DRC launch electric mobility ‘regional value chain’ initiative in Lusaka

Morocco, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and Zambia are joining forces to develop a ‘regional value chain’ for electric mobility with the hope of transforming Africa’s automotive industry. The Lusaka workshop is focused on developing a roadmap and partnership framework for electric mobility, bringing together the public and private sector as well as technical experts worked to establish action plans for battery production, vehicle assembly, and EV infrastructure development.
