Morocco’s Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) celebrates its 69th anniversary on Friday, reflecting on policing advancements and public service reforms. Since its 1956 founding, the DGSN has evolved its operations, training, and crime prevention strategies. Recent efforts include deploying 80 mobile biometric ID units, serving over 130,000 people, and launching the digital "E-Police" platform for online services. The agency also opened 19 new local offices in 2024 to enhance accessibility in growing urban areas.
