Algeria pins its hopes on desert tourism to help diversify economy
As part of reforms required by the IMF to diversify its economy, Algeria is looking to greatly expand its tourism
Morocco’s FM Nasser Bourita, held talks with the European Commissioner for Mediterranean, Dubravka Šuica, in Brussels Monday, to discuss ways of strengthening the Morocco-EU partnership. According to local Moroccan media, ‘the meeting focused on Morocco’s commitment to the New Pact for the Mediterranean, designed to provide fresh impetus to the partnership between the two shores of the Mediterranean, as part of the EU’s neighborhood policy.’ Bourita also held talks with the foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt and Slovenia, as well as Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares.
