Morocco's inflation eases in May

Morocco's annual inflation slowed to 0.4% in May from 0.7% in April, the statistics agency said on Friday. Food prices, the key inflation driver, rose 0.5% year-on-year, while non-food inflation edged up 0.3%. Core inflation, excluding volatile items like food, increased 1.1% annually and held steady month-on-month. The North African country has seen easing price pressures amid stable economic conditions.
