New JV launched to explore Morocco’s hydrogen and helium resources

World leader in subsurface resources, Getech and transition energy company, Sound Energy have created a JV, HyMaroc Ltd to explore natural hydrogen and helium in Morocco. HyMaroc will negotiate exclusive rights for the exploration and exploitation of hydrogen and helium resources in Morocco, after initial findings by Getech have “identified areas of significantly elevated favorability”, according to media outlet Fuel Cell Works. Max Brouwers, CBDO at Getech commented: “The establishment of the Joint Venture company together with Sound Energy is the logical next step in our search for these resources in Morocco”.
