The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has projected that Morocco’s economy to have a GDP growth rate of 3.8% in both this year and next. The latest OECD report highlighted growth across the tourism and manufacturing sectors, as well as improvement in agriculture after several years of drought. However, the OECD pointed to some structural challenges notably in educational and workforce skills, as well as increasing formal employment through greater flexibility in labor contracts.
