OECD nods to Egypt’s reform efforts

The OECD has praised Egypt’s public sector overhaul, citing improvements in digital services, civil service modernisation and efforts to include women and young people in policymaking. The review, reported by Egyptian media, welcomed progress under Egypt Vision 2030 and the Public Administration Reform Plan. But it also urged Cairo to tighten coordination across ministries and rely more on data in decision-making. Continued progress, the OECD warned, depends on turning policy into results that citizens can see.
