Britain to push for security council action as UN chief condemns Sudan's RSF

Devastating wildfires in central and northern Portugal have stretched emergency services to their limits, with reinforcements from Spain and Morocco expected to arrive Wednesday, according to the civil protection authority. Morocco will send up to four water-bombing aircraft. "We are at the limit of our capabilities, which is why we sought help from the European mechanism, Spain, and Morocco," said Prime Minister António Costa, adding that the reinforcements will provide relief for exhausted firefighters and maintain aircraft.
