Report: Macron to visit Morocco in October

According to a report by AFP quoting the Elysee in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Morocco “at the end of October.” The proposed meeting comes in the wake of efforts by both countries to boost their renewed bilateral ties. The statement went on to say that the visit comes because of a request from King Mohammed VI, adding that the Moroccan monarch sent President Macron a letter describing the “promising horizons that are emerging for our two countries.”
