UN Proposes Options to Break Libya Electoral Deadlock
The U.N. Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) said on Friday its Advisory Committee finalized options to resolve disputes over Libya’
A recent report entitled “State Trafficking: Expulsion and sale of migrants from Tunisia to Libya”, written by a network of anonymous European researchers, has suggested that Tunisian authorities have been implicated in the sale and expulsion to Libya of people migrating from Sub-Saharan Africa. The report was presented to the European Parliament and includes testimonies from 30 Sub-Saharan Africans who were trafficked between June 2023 and November 2024.
