In an interview with CNBC Africa, Annette Weber, EU Special Representative for The Horn of Africa, said that she intended to prioritize the Sahel region and hopes to see change in Sudan very soon. Weber went on to say that heightened conflict in the horn of Africa as well as parts of Eastern DRC will need urgent action to ensure African economies avoid weathering a vicious cycle of economic and political instability.
