Royal Air Maroc nears Boeing deal

Morocco’s Royal Air Maroc is finalizing a major Boeing order for 737 MAX and 787 Dreamliner jets to renew its fleet, with a decision expected at the Paris Airshow, industry sources said Wednesday. The carrier may also place a rare Airbus order for 20 A220s, marking the European planemaker’s return after 25 years. Talks, still private, align with warming France-Morocco ties. Bloomberg reported the deal could include ~50 737s and two dozen 787s.
