U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has spoken by phone with Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, reaffirming the “strong U.S.-Morocco partnership…under King Mohammed VI’s leadership.” They also discussed the situation in Gaza, including Morocco’s role in providing humanitarian aid and regional leadership. According to the State Department press release, they also talked about expanding trade, investment, and commercial cooperation, as well as building on the Abraham Accords.
