The UK-based Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) has uncovered a hidden base used by Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Libya’s al-Kufra desert, according to France’s state international broadcaster RFI. Using satellite and open-source analysis, CIR linked the site to April attacks in Sudan’s Darfur region that killed over 100 people. The findings bolster UN claims of arms embargo breaches and cross-border supply routes via Libya.
