Libya’s Sirte Oil Company and Schlumberger have agreed to deepen technical cooperation to boost oil production, according to Libya Observer. In recent talks, the two companies focused on rehabilitating idle wells, expanding drilling, and upgrading infrastructure, especially at the Zelten field. The partners aim to improve operations by adopting hydraulic fracturing and shifting to electric submersible pumps, addressing past logistical challenges to accelerate Libya’s energy recovery.
