Spain commits $235 million to help its investments in Mauritania

During a recent meeting between the Prime Minister of Spain and Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of Mauritania, the Spanish government said it will commit $235 million to support Spanish investments in Mauritania. Spain is Mauritania’s top trading partner within the European Union and is looking to continue to bolster bilateral economic cooperation as well as expand private sector partnerships, Energy Capital Power reported.
