The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) launched suicide drone strikes on Port Sudan—seat of Sudan’s army-aligned government—for the first time Sunday, hitting an air base and airport infrastructure, AFP reports. Though no casualties were reported, flights were suspended. The attack underscores the RSF’s growing drone capabilities as it pushes deeper into army-held territory, two years into a civil war that has fractured Sudan and displaced millions.
