The Parliamentary Conference on South-South Cooperation

A recent conference held in Morocco's capital Rabat highlighted the important role that African, Arab and Latin American countries play with regards economic transformation, regional integration, and joint development; and the trilogy of sustainable development, environmental energy and security cooperation. The Association of Senates, Shura, and Equivalent Councils in Africa and the Arab world (ASSECAA), focuses on the role of national parliaments and regional parliamentary unions in enhancing strategic partnerships and joint integration and development efforts between Africa, the Arab World, and Latin America.
