Tunisian customs have intercepted 122,000 narcotic pills, 113 kg of cannabis, and 13 kg of cocaine since January, officials said Monday. Chokri Al-Jabri, customs spokesperson, called the cocaine haul "particularly alarming," warning of its heightened potency when cut for distribution. Authorities remain on high alert across borders to combat increasingly sophisticated trafficking networks. The seizures follow intensified anti-narcotics operations as Tunisia and regional partners push for tighter controls against the illicit drug trade.
