Tunisia vows compliance with global anti-doping code following sanctions

Tunisia's government has enacted a decree to enforce the global anti-doping code, following sanctions imposed by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the sports ministry announced on Friday.

This move comes after WADA imposed penalties on Tuesday, including a ban on Tunisia's national flag at major sporting events, due to non-compliance with the anti-doping code.

In November, WADA gave Tunisia a four-month deadline to resolve its compliance issues, but its executive committee concluded last month that the "non-conformities were still not resolved.”
