Libya protesters call for PM to resign
Hundreds gathered in Tripoli for a third consecutive Friday to demand the resignation of Libya’s UN-recognized Prime Minister Abdulhamid
A Tunisian lawyer, whose arrest in May drew international criticism, was provisionally released on Thursday, pending further legal proceedings.
"The indictment chamber of the Court of Appeal decided on the provisional release of Mehdi Zegrouba," his lawyer, Boubaker Ben Thabet, informed AFP. Despite his release, Zegrouba remains under prosecution in other cases.
Zegrouba was apprehended during a police raid at the Tunisian Bar Association headquarters on May 13.
