Tunisian President Kais Saied displayed photos of malnourished Gazan children to U.S. envoy Massad Boulos, Donald Trump’s senior Africa adviser, during a meeting late Tuesday. Official footage showed Saied condemning Israel’s actions as "crimes against humanity" and urging global intervention.
"It is time for humanity to wake up," Saied said, holding an image of a child "eating sand." Boulos listened silently as Saied denounced Gaza’s worsening crisis, where over two million face famine after 21 months of war.
